At Nelson Basketball, we're passionate about creating a fun, inclusive, and positive environment where every child can develop a lifelong love of the game. Guided by Basketball New Zealand's values-based coaching framework, our programme focuses on building confidence, developing skills, encouraging teamwork, and creating positive sporting experiences for every player.

Whether your child is new to basketball or already has experience, BNZ Kiwi Hoops provides opportunities to learn, improve, and be challenged. With dedicated coaches and court groupings to support players at different stages of their development, every child can grow at a pace that's right for them.

Term 3 Registrations Now Open

Registrations are now open for our Term 3 After School Programme for Year 3 & 4 students. With coaching tailored to different skill levels, the programme is designed to help every player develop—whether they're picking up a basketball for the first time or looking to take their game to the next level.
